This 2 days review training is intended for programmers who already use vxWorks but need to understand the “big picture” on one hand and to dive into details they might have overlooked on the other hand. It will utilize Tornado/vxWorks 5.5 or Workbench/vxWorks6.x but will discuss only vxWorks Kernel Tasks (RTPs are out of scope). The labs are either hands-on or demonstrations.

Blocking on Multi Objects (Events with Semaphores and/or Message Queues)
Blocking on several I/O devices – Some words on select() implementation in vxWorks

The workshop will have one or two (if time allows) labs with the vxSim simulator (or H/W target boards if made available by the customer ).
The 2nd lab will be on Interrupts and the System Viewer
